MCERC internships and RA programs are designed to provide practical experience marketable skills, are variable in duration, and have structured curricula. MCERC senior faculty are mentors who work closely with participants.  Be sure to follow MCERC on social media for announcements.

Data from MCERC research projects may be available for graduate students beginning thesis or dissertation work. Please contact us with a letter describing the scope of your project and detail how we may be able to help.

These programs are for adults with a desire to participate in field science projects. Experiences are geared to both current university students and those with a completed degree in a related field. Research Assistants (RA) are long-term commitments for adults who hold a university degree in a related science field to the project, have completed at least one internship, & are seeking an opportunity to gain significant experience in their field of interest. Certifications

Webinars & Certifications are offered throughout the year. These are typically a few hours long lessons given by MCERC staff over the course of 2-6 days on various marine biology skills and techniques.
